Audit & Accounts Senior Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit & Accounts Senior to join our dynamic team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd in Cambridge.

As an Audit & Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for providing a full suite of audit and accountancy support to a varied client portfolio, including preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and VAT returns.

You will lead audit engagements from planning to completion, liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients, and manage workflow to ensure client expectations and deadlines are being met.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert audit and accountancy services to clients
  • Leading audit engagements and managing client relationships
  • Liaising with HMRC and other regulatory bodies
  • Managing workflow and ensuring client deadlines are met
  • Supporting junior staff and contributing to team development

We are looking for a qualified ACA or ACCA professional with previous experience within practice, who is driven to deliver excellence and has a strong attention to detail.
