Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Ackerman Pierce Ltd. The successful candidate will have experience in working with children with SUDEP risk and be able to provide a speech and language therapy programme to be implemented at the child's home.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide a speech and language therapy programme to be implemented at the child's home
* Use the PROMPT programme with first and intermediate training courses in PROMPT therapy
* Develop the child's use of AAC
* Train the child's home-based education team and family in methods used in daily eating, drinking, and communication systems and programmes

Requirements:

* Highly specialist knowledge acquired through degree or equivalent qualifications, including further theoretical training and experience to Master's level equivalent in required speciality
* Continued Professional Development evidenced by attendance at short specialist postgraduate courses

Working Hours:

* The post holder will work with the child providing direct therapy no less than 90 minutes per week (2 sessions per week), equating to 58.5 hours per annum

Salary:

* £65/hour
