About the Role

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join our client's vibrant office in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to develop their career in a dynamic and multidisciplinary consultancy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out acoustic assessments, noise measurements, and surveys, as well as site inspections to ensure compliance with Building Regulations and International Standards.
  • Advise on architectural, MEP, and structural design to minimize noise pollution and optimize acoustic performance.
  • Oversee and run acoustic modeling programs to simulate and analyze acoustic environments.
  • Liaise with consultants, engineers, and architects to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Project management and writing high-quality reports to document findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in business development by identifying new opportunities and building relationships with clients.
Requirements
  • Degree or post-graduate qualification in an acoustics-related discipline.
  • Membership of the Institute of Acoustics.
  • Extensive understanding of acoustics for the built environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years consultancy experience.
  • Self-motivated, able to learn quickly, and work independently to deadlines.
  • Good communication and client liaison skills.
  • Familiarity with noise monitoring equipment.
