Career opportunities are available for skilled electricians at Carbon 60 in County Durham.

We are looking for someone who can maintain and repair building electrical systems, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our facilities.

  • Responsible for isolating electrical equipment, checking and testing it, and making adjustments as needed
  • Monitors plant items and services, performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Liaises with engineers to generate and review assets, maintaining accurate records
  • Conducts electrical distribution board testing and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
  • Repairs building electrical systems, including lighting and power installations
  • Maintains records, produces reports, and ensures regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with BMS systems and ability to work effectively within them
  • Must hold IOSH Working safely certification

The estimated salary for this position is approximately £50,000 - £60,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.

A City & Guilds qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent is essential.
