Southfields Veterinary Specialists is seeking an experienced Dentistry and Maxilla-Facial Specialist to join our team as the Head of Dentistry and Maxilla-Facial Surgery. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of our Dentistry service and work collaboratively with our leadership teams to build the infrastructure and recruit supporting teams.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Dentistry and Maxilla-Facial Surgery, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a large 24-hour multi-disciplinary team. They will be committed to developing the centre and providing high standards of care to both our patients and referring veterinary surgeons.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical services as a consultant
- Working with the team to develop the Dentistry and Maxilla-Facial Service
- Supporting and developing the team
- Working collaboratively with all other services and fostering good relationships
- Developing new ways of working and SOP's within our new centre
- Demonstrating professional standards that will advance patient care
- Being an ambassador for the team
The position reports to the Clinical Director and is suited to an experienced Dentistry and Maxilla-Facial Specialist with exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
The successful candidate will have:
- A strong background in Dentistry and Maxilla-Facial Surgery
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work efficiently and effectively within a large 24-hour multi-disciplinary team
- A commitment to developing the centre and providing high standards of care
