About the Role

ABM UK is seeking an experienced Airport Bus Operator to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of airport passengers between designated transfer points.

The ideal candidate will possess a full UK driving license, with no more than three points endorsed, and must be able to demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English. Additionally, they must be able to pass and maintain an Airside Pass and airside driving Permit, including competency checks where necessary.

This role requires excellent people and communication skills, as well as a positive, proactive attitude. The ability to work in alternate locations, sometimes at short notice, is also essential.

We offer a competitive salary of £13.67 per hour, plus a range of benefits, including 24/7 GP access, mental health support, and a Cycle to Work scheme.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To deliver safe, efficient, and effective bus transportation services to airport passengers.
  • To operate various vehicles, including buses, high lifts, minibuses, and PRM vehicles, with full training provided.
  • To maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times, adhering to company standards.
  • To continually monitor and address or escalate any unsafe practices.

Requirements:

  • A full UK driving license with no more than three points endorsed.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in both written and spoken English.
  • Pass and maintain an Airside Pass and airside driving Permit, including competency checks where necessary.
  • Excellent people and communication skills.
  • A positive, proactive attitude.
