About the Role
This exciting opportunity has arisen within the Informatics and Data Services team at Public Health Wales NHS Trust. As an Informatics and Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing expert analysis and reporting to support the delivery of high-quality services across the organization.
Main Responsibilities
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Analysing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions
- Developing and maintaining reports to track key performance indicators
- Providing systems training and support to staff to ensure consistent data entry and data quality
- Collaborating with stakeholders to design and implement new or changed services
- Assisting with research initiatives and providing expert advice on data-related matters
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A degree in a numerate subject or equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrable experience of managing and analysing large datasets, with a focus on report generation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of staff
- High degree of computer literacy, with a focus on data analysis and visualization tools
