Radiology Expert

We are looking for a highly skilled Radiology Expert to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will work in a busy District General Hospital with rotation to two local Community Hospitals.

The role will involve working alongside consultant radiologists on the Emergency Floor, scanning emergency and urgent inpatient cases. You will also be involved in providing a high-quality imaging service, including antenatal ultrasound services, general, small parts, paediatric, DVT, and MSK scanning.

Main Duties:

• Performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetrics, and gynaecology.
• Providing accurate dating based on fetal ultrasound measurements in pregnant women.
• Participating in the provision of a screening service to detect fetal abnormalities, monitor growth in at-risk fetuses, and manage multiple pregnancies.

Person Specification:

• HCPC or NMC Registration
• Higher qualification in US practice (Masters/PGC)
• Additional specialist courses

Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
