Engineering Manager (Hands-On) Python

Opus Resourcing is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Python development team. As a hands-on technical leader, you will be responsible for designing and implementing Python web applications and APIs using Django and GraphQL. Your expertise in cloud technologies and platforms like AWS and Azure will be essential in scaling our systems.

This is a remote role with occasional visits to our London office. You will be working closely with our technical team to deliver high-quality software solutions. If you have a strong background in Python web development, experience in managing technical teams, and a passion for innovation, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Python developers in designing and implementing web applications and APIs.
  • Develop and maintain a strong technical leadership presence within the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in Python web development.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a technical lead or engineering manager in a Python development team.
  • Strong background in Python web development using Django and GraphQL.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and platforms like AWS and Azure.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
