We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Historian to join our team at Wayman Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching History to Key Stage 3/4 and will have a strong passion for the subject.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in the relevant subject and QTS or PGCE. They will be able to differentiate their teaching to meet the needs of a wide range of abilities, including highly gifted children.

The school has a strong academic reputation, with results well above the national average. The History department is one of the best in the school, with new facilities and a good team to work with.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching History to Key Stage 3/4
  • Developing and delivering engaging lesson plans
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback
