Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diagnostic Technical Authoring Specialist to join our team at CAD-IT Ltd. As a Vehicle Diagnostic Authoring Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of technical authors to develop and deliver high-quality technical information for a well-known automotive OEM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of technical authors to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality content.
- Develop and implement diagnostic technical authoring processes to ensure efficient and effective content creation.
- Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to gather information and ensure accuracy of technical content.
- Author and publish content into diagnostic software for use by dealers and technicians.
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
- Provide training and mentoring to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, address challenges, and set goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering teams and dealerships.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in diagnostic technology.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in diagnostic technical authoring and team leadership.
- Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostic software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Experience with CAD and CAD visualization tools is an asset.
- Full driving license is required.
