Job Opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist

About the Role:

  • Job Type: Part-time
  • Pay: £80.00-£120.00 per hour
  • Expected Hours: 20 – 40 per week
  • Work Location: In person

Responsibilities:

  • Assessment, Diagnosis, and Management: Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and managing dementia and mental health conditions in older adults in a community setting.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience working in a memory service and older adult community mental health services.
  • Certification: CCT on Old Age Psychiatry and AC/S12 approval.

Requirements:

  • Valid GMC: Valid General Medical Council (GMC) registration.
  • Right to Work: Right to work in the UK.
  • Clinical Attachment: Clinical attachment complete.
  • Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3-6 months paid experience in the NHS/UK.
