Routes To Work South is a registered charity based in Scotland, dedicated to providing high-quality care and support services to older vulnerable people in their own homes. As a Companionship Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering our mission by providing companionship and support to those who need it most.
Main Shift Pattern: Our service users love their carers, and our carers know that their support is valued and appreciated. You will assist our service users in various locations across Scotland, including East Kilbride, Uddingston, Bothwell, Hamilton, Rutherglen, Cambuslang, Lanark, Carluke, Lesmahagow, and Kirkmuirhill.
The workdays of week 1 & 2 are non-negotiable. You can choose from the following shift patterns:
- Early: 7am till 2pm - £12.00 + travel
- Late: 4pm till 11pm - £12.00 + travel
- Full Time: 7am till 2pm & 4pm till 11pm (both shifts combined) - £24.00 + travel
- Promote independence and choice.
- Ensure health and wellbeing.
- Follow SSSC code of practice and HRM policies and procedures.
- Assist with washing, dressing, and toileting.
- Prepare meals.
- Prompt medication.
- Assist with light household tasks.
