About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous availability and reliability of our machine tools and other plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and maintain a diverse range of electrical, mechanical, and technical equipment.
  • Work closely with facility and office teams across all shifts to ensure seamless operations.
  • Liaise with suppliers to procure necessary parts and equipment.
  • Participate in out-of-hours standby systems and make recommendations on asset conditions to the Maintenance Team Leader or Operation Manager.
  • Ensure up-to-date knowledge of machine tools and adapt the use of Agility application software.
  • Comply with HSE regulations and ensure adherence to safety procedures and practices.
  • Assist in planning preventative maintenance and support in minimizing downtime.
  • Conduct annual inspections of ladders and racking.
  • Participate in required training to fulfill job responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Minimum ONC/HNC in an Engineering discipline or a relevant engineering apprenticeship.
  • Time-served in mechanical engineering, preferably multi-skilled.
