About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Café Bar Supervisor to support the Café Bar Manager at Cornerstone. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the café bar during events.

Main Responsibilities

• Work closely with the café manager, venue duty managers, and technicians to deliver exceptional events.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in the café bar, adhering to food hygiene, health and safety, and licensing standards.
• Place orders and ensure adequate staffing in the absence of the Café Bar Manager.
• Support a profitable café bar by providing fast service, up-selling, and minimizing wastage.
• Ensure catering requirements for hirers are met to a high standard and handle catering bookings when the café manager is unavailable.
• Adhere to cash handling and finance procedures and complete relevant paperwork.
• Ensure the security of the café bar, including its takings, and act as duty building manager when required.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with great supervisory skills, café or bar experience, and a passion for our venue. If you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a keen eye for detail, we would love to hear from you.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, working 22 hours per week. You will be based at Cornerstone, Didcot, and will be part of a dynamic team that is committed to delivering excellent events and customer experiences.
