Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at an outstanding primary school in Ealing. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional needs, working across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with individual needs, developing interventions tailored to their requirements
  • Motivate and encourage students, providing individual attention, reassurance, and help with learning tasks
  • Liaise with class teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to contribute to individual education plans (IEPs) and support planning and delivery
  • Assist in creating resources to support pupils, monitoring their response to learning activities and adapting or modifying activities as needed

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of SEN and a calm, reassuring nature
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with colleagues, parents, and carers
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational environment
