SEN Primary Teacher Job Description

**About the Role:**

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Primary Teacher to support and teach pupils with diverse needs, such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional and behavioural difficulties. As an SEN Primary Teacher, you will have a key role in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet individual pupil needs.

**Responsibilities:**

- Delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to meet individual pupil needs
- Creating and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to support progress and development
- Collaborating closely with SEN support staff, therapists, and parents to provide holistic support
- Using a range of strategies to manage behavior effectively and positively
- Assessing and tracking the progress of pupils, ensuring they reach their full potential

**Requirements:**

- Experienced in teaching primary-age pupils with SEN, ideally within an inclusive or specialist school setting
- Knowledgeable in developing and implementing personalized learning strategies
- A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
- Dedicated to creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Strong in communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and external professionals
