We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Teacher to join our inclusive school in Hackney, London. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator passionate about working with young children and positively influencing their educational journeys.
Job Summary
This full-time Nursery Teacher role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' social and emotional development, and nurturing a love for learning. You will have the chance to collaborate with a supportive team of educators and contribute to the school's overall success.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will possess QTS, EYTS, PGCE, and a strong academic record. A Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent is also required. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver creative and stimulating lessons that meet the requirements of the Nursery curriculum.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students' social and emotional development.
- Provide individualised support to students based on their unique needs and abilities.
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' achievements and behaviour.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring a strong partnership between home and school.
Requirements:
- QTS, EYTS, PGCE, and strong academic record.
- Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage (Nursery) or equivalent.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Nursery curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for young children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to effectively plan and deliver lessons.
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting students' learning and development.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school and students.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
