Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our school's governing body as a Governor. As a Governor, you will play a vital role in shaping the strategic direction of our academy and contributing to the education and well-being of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Represent the interests of our local community and stakeholders by ensuring that our academy's policies and practices meet their needs.
  2. Contribute to the development of our academy's long-term vision and ensure it aligns with the needs of our community and the Trust's vision and values.
  3. Support our Directors of Education in improving student outcomes.
  4. Participate in ongoing professional development and networking opportunities with other schools and governors across the Trust.

Our academy has a rich history dating back to 1887 and has become a popular choice for families in the local area. We are committed to involving the wider community in school life and work closely with other agencies to provide the best possible education for our students.
