MRI Rotational Radiographer Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated radiographer to join our team as an MRI Rotational Radiographer at Duchy Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

About the Role

  • Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a varied caseload, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
  • Supervise and develop junior colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent patient care.
  • Responsible for MRI safety, adhering to local rules and regulations, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment.
  • Participate in departmental audits and Quality Assurance programs, contributing to the continuous improvement of services.
  • Provide input to the review, update, and implementation of departmental policy and procedural changes, ensuring alignment with organizational requirements.

Requirements

  • BSC degree in diagnostic radiography (or equivalent) and a postgraduate qualification (desirable).
  • Experience in MRI (minimum 2 years) and proficiency in the use of all equipment within scope of practice.
  • Excellent communication and team working abilities, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach to work.
  • Ability to work within IRMER and own scope of practice, in accordance with the code of conduct set out by the HCPC.
