We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our school's kitchen operations in a Primary School located in Derby. This part-time role offers flexibility to suit your schedule.

As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that meals are prepared and served efficiently. While previous experience as a kitchen assistant in a school is desirable, it is not essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

  • Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years
  • An enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service
  • Successful safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work

Salary: Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
