About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Computing Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in the energy transition space within the EMEA region. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, adoption, and market expansion in this rapidly evolving industry.

Job Description

As a key member of our global team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute business strategies that align with our company's goals. Your primary focus will be on increasing cloud computing adoption among diverse stakeholders across the energy transition segment, including renewable generation, electrical networks, and energy services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with key industry customers, AWS account teams, and strategic partners to build relationships and drive business opportunities.
  • Attending and speaking at industry events to promote AWS solutions and establish thought leadership.
  • Collaborating with business development managers and sales teams to develop repeatable industry solutions and drive new business opportunities.
  • Working closely with AWS solutions architects and partner teams to develop and promote cloud patterns and solutions for the vertical.
  • Contributing to the evolution of AWS offerings to meet the needs of new energy customers.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, computer science, or engineering.
  • Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements, preferably in a cloud computing environment.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
