Clinical Administrator for Healthcare Services

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Clinical Administrator to join our team at Bridge House Medical Practice. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clinicians and patients.
Main Duties:
- Process patient administration, including SNOMED coding and typing letters via Docman 10
- Deal with new patient registrations and deductions
- Organize practice mailboxes and process recall letters as requested
- Process referrals using the electronic referral system (eRS)
- Input patient data into healthcare records as necessary
- Carry out system searches as requested
- Support clinicians and the Practice Manager with general administrative tasks

Bridge House Medical Practice is a well-established training practice located in a purpose-built premises. We provide high-quality patient-centered care, working closely with clinicians, nurses, and other health professionals.
Responsibilities:
- New patient registrations and registration workflow
- EMIS tasks and maintaining EMIS
- eRS referrals and immunisation recalls (excluding childhood immunisations)
- NHS Health Check Recall and processing documents and eConsults
- Filing and retrieving paperwork, managing the telephone system, and IT support
Person Specification:
- Previous experience working in a GP practice
- Education to GCSE (or equivalent) including English language and maths
- Excellent telephone manner and good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and be part of a team
