As a Wellbeing and Engagement Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering our Wellbeing and Engagement program, which focuses on enhancing the physical and mental wellbeing of our residents. You will work closely with residents, their families, and the wider care team to create an engaging and stimulating environment that promotes independence and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and organize person-centered activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Encourage participation in the home's Wellbeing & Engagement Programme and promote a whole-home approach to activities.
- Support the creation of an engaging and stimulating environment throughout the home, ensuring it is accessible and enjoyable for all residents.
- Arrange and support trips and outings to enable residents to engage in off-site activities, maintain their hobbies, and develop new interests.
- Develop and implement individualized 1-2-1 activities for residents who may not want to participate in group activities.
- Assist with fundraising and budgeting for entertainment, materials, and outings.
Requirements:
- Warm, friendly, and empathetic approach to working with residents and their families.
- Good organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to build rapport and positively influence others.
- Comfortable using technology to support activity planning and delivery.
- Experience in a similar environment is ideal, but not essential as we provide training and support for development.
