About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety professional to join our team as Head of Health and Safety. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our health and safety initiatives and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive health and safety strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Lead the development of long-term health and safety plans, including budgeting and resource allocation.
  • Lead and mentor a team of H&S Advisors across multiple locations and business entities, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of safety initiatives.
  • Establish a health and safety plan for the team, ensuring any associated programs are up to date.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility for any H&S initiatives.
  • Profile current and potential health and safety risks and hazards in the workplace, participating in corporate-level risk assessments.
  • Create, circulate, implement, and review health and safety policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Liaise with external bodies such as regulatory agencies, insurers, and auditors.
