About the RoleThe Operational Excellence Specialist role is a key position within our organization, responsible for driving progress and achieving business objectives. This exciting opportunity requires a professional with strong manufacturing experience, preferably in chilled food manufacturing, who can apply Lean Six Sigma principles and methodologies to drive improvement.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing specialist knowledge and guidance on continuous improvement projects. Your goal will be to identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and implement changes that result in increased efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and good manufacturing practices throughout project planning and delivery.
- Collaborate with technical, hygiene, and engineering colleagues to ensure food safety considerations are well managed.
- Develop and implement action plans to achieve improvements aligned with the Manufacturing Excellence roadmap and business objectives.
- Apply recognized change management methodologies to engage stakeholders and drive successful change initiatives.
To succeed in this challenging role, you must possess:
- Good manufacturing practice (GMP) experience in chilled food manufacturing.
- A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent.
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Experience in people management, training, and development.
- Fundamental math and English skills, ideally level 3.
