Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Teknikal Specialist Recruitment Ltd. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and repair of manual handling equipment and plant machinery
  • Perform regular maintenance and inspections of conveyors, high-speed processing machines, and material handling equipment
  • Ensure that PPM servicing schedules are followed in accordance with company requirements
  • Conduct daily duties in a safe working manner while adhering to QHSE obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974
  • Report any unsafe acts, hazards, or defective equipment to your safety advisor and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:
  • Level 2 qualification in mechanical engineering or equivalent
  • Proven track record in mechanical maintenance, including experience with conveyors, high-speed processing machinery, and material handling equipment
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
  • Flexible approach and ability to work under pressure
  • Good communication skills
