Job Title: Principal Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Principal Network Engineer to join our team at Adepta Partners. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting our network and system infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, implementation, and support of network and system infrastructure, including cloud and on-premise solutions.
  • Collaborate with TechOps, DevOps, and InfoSec teams to ensure high availability, security, and observability of our systems.
  • Support legacy infrastructure and manage migrations to modern platforms, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Oversee system and network performance, incident management, and proactive maintenance, ensuring our systems are always running at optimal levels.
  • Coordinate system upgrades, capacity planning, and disaster recovery, ensuring our systems are always prepared for any eventuality.
  • Provide leadership on technical operations, mentoring, and system improvements, driving innovation and excellence within our team.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in system/network design and support, with a strong background in cloud and on-premise solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership or architect experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls, Juniper switching and routing, VPNs, and wireless technologies, as well as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Familiarity with disaster recovery, network security, and monitoring tools, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
