About the Role


We are recruiting for a talented Delivery Driver to join our team at Royal Mail. As a key member of our logistics team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of mail and packages across Scotland.



Key Responsibilities



  • Deliver mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Sort and collect post/parcels from the local delivery office
  • Use a hand-held device to capture customer signatures and navigate your delivery route
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve delivery targets
  • Conduct deliveries on foot and by vehicle, using a post trolley as needed


Key Requirements



  • A valid UK driving license with a maximum of 6 points (a clean license is preferred)
  • Previous delivery or driving experience is a plus but not essential
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication and customer service abilities
  • A commitment to safe and responsible driving practices
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weathers
  • Able to work 5 days out of 7, including potential weekends
