Job Overview

This role is part of the Systems Engineering Department, which focuses on supporting core technology development at the component and stack levels. As a Systems Engineer, you will contribute to both internal and customer-facing projects, taking responsibility for defining requirements and developing verification plans for our stacks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with global partners to understand key drivers, requirements, and specifications for our Systems.
  • Provide technical leadership of tasks and work packages.
  • Develop system architectures to meet customer product requirements.
  • Engage with discipline heads, senior engineers, and project management to support requirements, interfaces, verification, and validation.
  • Use risk mitigation tools such as FMEAs to track and communicate project risk.
  • Support verification and validation plans for systems and subsystems including test planning, execution, and data analysis.
  • Support new process design, including component specification and selection, process calculations, mass and energy balance diagrams, application of industry standards, and supporting HAZOP studies.
  • Provide support to product project teams, resolve technical issues, and communicate and document solutions.
  • Support issue resolution and documentation activities and outcomes.
  • Develop and use models to simulate product and system behavior to support design and verification.
  • Provide plans and estimates for systems engineering activities.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including life insurance, healthcare cash plan, 25 days annual leave, share save scheme, and pension, along with enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption pay, and shared parental leave as part of our family-friendly policy.
