Sales Professional for Building Supplies

We are looking for a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team at GCS Associates in Stevenage/Letchworth. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading supplier of building materials and construction supplies.
About the RoleAs an Internal Sales Executive, you will be responsible for interacting with customers over the phone, by email, and face-to-face. You will ask questions, find out about their projects, take quotation enquiries, develop rapport, and upsell where possible.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in builders' merchants or construction supplies industry and will be able to think on their feet. They should also demonstrate sound knowledge when called upon.
This role requires someone who is proactive and will pick up the phone to talk to customers. Confidence and attention to detail are essential.
The other part of the role involves working on quotations, generating quotes, and following them up to turn them into orders. We are looking for a confident individual with high levels of customer service skills.
