Role Summary:

As a 7.5t Delivery Driver at DX, you will be responsible for delivering customers' products to their required premises, ensuring exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. You will transport products safely to customers' premises, treating their freight as if it were your own.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent DX in a professional manner at all times.
  • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements.
  • Undertake daily checks, reporting defects and completing correct paperwork.
  • Scan products using DX scanning equipment.
  • Load deliveries safely prior to leaving the depot.
  • Observe DX procedures and policies at all times.
  • Manage routing to achieve premium and timed deliveries.
  • Ensure correct equipment and PPE are in good order and used at all times.
  • Report delivery and on-road issues to the traffic office immediately.
  • Ensure customers receive deliveries in excellent condition every time.
  • Deal with customer issues in a polite and effective manner.
  • Make collections in line with given instructions and times.

Essential Criteria:

  • Must hold C1 or above on licence with valid DQC and Tacho card.
  • Maximum of 6 points on licence and no bans.
  • Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to build a rapport with customers.
