Laboratory Microbiologist

VRS-UK is seeking an experienced Laboratory Microbiologist to join our team in a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing laboratory.

This exciting opportunity involves developing skills and experience as a Laboratory Microbiologist with a strong focus on maintaining efficient laboratory operations and ensuring quality standards are met.

• Performing Microbiology testing and validation needs, including bioburden, endotoxin testing, concentration, conductivity, and pathogen detection
• Confirming the safety of working practices within the laboratory and performing routine verification of laboratory data
• Maintaining efficient laboratory operations and ensuring quality standards are met

• BSc or equivalent in Life Sciences (Microbiology preferred)
• 1+ years' experience performing Environmental Monitoring testing in a GMP setting (ideally pharmaceutical)
• Strong work ethic and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
