We are seeking an experienced seamstress to join our team at Official Zen Den, a forward-thinking online vintage clothing shop based in Surbiton, UK.

Job Overview:

• Create and develop precise patterns for garment designs.
• Translate design concepts into paper with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Operate sewing machines and other relevant equipment.
• Collaborate on interpreting designs and technical specifications.
• Perform garment construction tasks, including cutting, sewing, and finishing.
• Participate in fittings and make necessary alterations.
• Work with various fabrics, ensuring accurate pattern placement and precise stitching.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production process.

Requirements:

• Expertise as a seamstress with experience in garment construction and sewing techniques.
• Proficiency in working with various fabrics, including knowledge of different fabric types and handling requirements.
• Ability to operate sewing machines, over locker, and other relevant equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for quality assurance.
• Familiarity with sustainable fashion practices and passion for ethical clothing production.

What We Offer:

• Estimated Salary: £22,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
