Transportation Logistics Coordinator

Job Overview:
Rittal-CSM is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Coordinator to oversee and optimize transportation operations. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient transportation processes and coordinating logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Logistics Coordination: Prepare, generate, and distribute shipping documents to ensure timely and accurate transportation of goods.
- Driver Management: Meet and greet drivers on arrival, provide guidance on driver visiting guidelines, and ensure compliance with weighing and loading processes.
- Record Keeping: Accurately record time of arrival and departure of each truck, as well as manage traffic in the yard and prioritize loading docks.
- Supply Chain Management: Ensure correct truck release protocols, including documentation, seal checks, and weighbridge operations.
- Transportation KPIs: Record all relevant data associated with transportation performance metrics.
- Investigations: Investigate supplementary charges from hauliers, including demurrage and cancellation fees.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 operating processes and alignment with Rittal international standards.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in warehousing, distribution, and/or transportation operations.
- Operational Health and Safety: Strong understanding of operational health and safety protocols.
