Cloud Security Engineer

Deloitte LLP is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional detection and response capabilities in public cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement incident response capabilities for cloud environments, encompassing triage, investigation, evidence collection, containment, and remediation.
  • Lead the development and implementation of security products and strategies, operationalizing new ones and maturing existing ones.
  • Bring thought leadership, influence, and technical expertise to gather requirements, evaluate solutions, and execute on deliverables addressing Deloitte policies around Private and Public Cloud solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain enterprise-level cloud cyber defense systems and strategies.
  • Develop and deliver secure cloud ecosystem services across multiple Cloud Service Providers.
Requirements:
  • Accomplished security professional with relevant security experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Prior experience in security incident response, participating in and interfacing with Security Operations Center (SOC) and/or Incident Response (IR) teams.
  • Operational experience in cloud security posture management (CSPM) solutions, adhering to and supporting cloud security frameworks / controls such as CSA, MITRE, NIST, and ISO.
  • Experience implementing and integrating cloud security solutions, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, security information and event management (SIEM), and Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP).
  • Experience with Splunk (SIEM) for security analysis, writing custom queries, and creating custom dashboards and reports.
  • Experience operating within Agile environments, supporting large-scale enterprise Cloud projects from ideation to production.
Preferred Skills/Certifications:
  • Multi-cloud experience.
  • Security Certification from one of the following: AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Industry certifications (CCSP, CISM).
