Purchase Ledger Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our team at Alliance Automotive Group UK. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and post high volumes of invoices to the ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Validate purchase invoices, reconciling discrepancies and resolving supplier queries in a timely manner
  • Reconcile supplier statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors
  • Prepare and manage BACS payments, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements:
  • Experience in a fast-paced purchase ledger environment, with a strong understanding of financial processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in using Excel to an intermediate level, with the ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
