Job Overview

A key role in providing a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff at Sodexo. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, a strong work ethic, and excellent organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain patient safety by keeping their rooms, wards, communal areas, restrooms, and other hospital areas clean.
  • Strip and clean beds and collect linen
  • Clean desks, ceilings and vents, walls, blinds, and other surfaces to create a sterile, safe environment.
  • Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, polish floors, and replenish supplies
  • Emptying bins and waste containers
  • Actively champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staff

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical aspects of the job
  • Exceptional customer service skills: a willingness to go above and beyond

  • Personal and professional integrity, appearance, and demeanour
