Job Title: Principal Communications Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Communications Design Engineer to join our team at JAM Recruitment Ltd.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical input and engineering solutions in support of the development lifecycle. This will involve supporting acceptance criteria through design, build, integration, installation, and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing documentation to support the design review process, including diagrams, technical specifications, and justifications.
  • Undertaking design reviews and discussing requirements with stakeholders.
  • Presenting information to stakeholders and ensuring that design solutions meet the required standards.

Requirements:

  • A track record of system/equipment design of internal communications systems.
  • Experience working across the engineering lifecycle.
  • A STEM degree qualification and an incorporated engineer, currently charted or working towards chartership.

Security Clearance:

Please note that this role will be subject to the successful candidate obtaining security clearance. You must be SC clearable to take on this position.
