About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Assistant to join our team at Sewell Wallis Ltd. As a Finance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day financial management of our organization, including annual budgeting and monthly management of accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure that purchase invoices are properly authorized, coded, and processed accurately into the accounts package.
  • Reconcile company credit card expenditure and process it into the accounts package accurately.
  • Assist staff with expenses queries and ensure expense claims are processed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare payment runs for approval and upload to the banking system.
  • Reconcile creditor accounts with payments matched against invoices.
  • Respond to purchase and invoice queries as required.
  • Set up supplier accounts as needed.
  • Support the Head of Finance in the production of the month-end and year-end accounts pack and audit.
Requirements
  • AAT level 3 or qualified by experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a Finance role.
  • Experience with taking accounts processes to trail balance stage.
  • Driver with a full, clean driving license.
