About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Audit Director to join our team in Henley-on-Thames. As a key member of our audit team, you will be responsible for leading high-level audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement audit strategies to meet client needs and achieve business objectives
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality audit services
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues to enhance audit methodologies and processes
  • Champion business development and cross-selling initiatives
  • Lead and inspire the audit team to deliver exceptional results

Requirements
  • ACCA/ACA qualified with at least 10 years' experience in audit
  • Proven experience managing audit engagements within a financial services environment
  • Strong technical skills, including a deep understanding of auditing standards and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
