Job Title: Theatre Practitioner
Location: Birmingham
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: From £35,000 per annum
Optical Express, the UK and Ireland's leading private provider of laser eye, premium intraocular lens and cataract surgery, is seeking a skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our team at our state-of-the-art treatment centre in Birmingham.
As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, working alongside expert Ophthalmologists to deliver world-class patient care. Your responsibilities will include:
- Laser Vision Correction – Scrub
- Intraocular Lens (Cataract) – Scrub
- Anaesthetic assistant
- Pre-operative assessments
- Undertake pre-screening diagnostic duties
- Discharge patients with after-care advice and medications
- Medicines management
To be successful in this role, you must be NMC or HCPC registered with previous Theatre or scrub experience. We offer a competitive salary, no night shifts, and a state-of-the-art working environment.
