Your Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images for medical professionals.
  • Adjust equipment and patient positions to optimize image quality and patient comfort.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Interpret and report diagnostic results to physicians, identifying normal and abnormal findings.
  • Prepare patients for ultrasound exams, providing education and support throughout the process.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a hospital setting, with a strong background in diagnostic imaging.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a Sonographer.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and priorities.
