Audit Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a leading recruitment agency specializing in accountancy recruitment, we are committed to finding the best talent for our clients.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading audits from planning to completion, providing constructive mentorship to junior team members, and leading work delegation across the Audit team. They will also work closely with Partners and other Managers to support company growth, including scoping opportunities and pitching for new business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead audits from planning to completion, ensuring high-quality results and meeting client expectations.
- Provide constructive mentorship to junior team members, championing their professional development and growth.
- Lead work delegation across the Audit team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of audit services.
- Work closely with Partners and other Managers to support company growth, including scoping opportunities and pitching for new business.
- Identify services that will add value to clients, driving business growth and revenue.
- Review internal processes and provide recommendations to improve efficiencies across the Audit function.
- Liaise with clients, building trusted and long-lasting relationships.
- Set an example for the team as a natural leader, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and qualities.

Requirements:
- Qualified with extensive audit experience within practice.
- Demonstrable knowledge across audit work, from planning to completion.
- Previous supervisory experience, with a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team.
- Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Networking and relationship building skills.
- First-class organizational, multi-tasking, and delegation skills.
- Commercially minded with the ability to confidently seek new business opportunities.
