Sanctuary Students is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping team as a General Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality cleaning and domestic service in our student accommodation. During term time, your duties will include cleaning of communal areas and empty properties, while in vacation periods, you will focus on deep cleaning vacant flats. The role of General Assistant requires providing high-quality cleaning services, identifying and reporting hazards, organising stores, and performing equipment checks.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing requirements
  • Experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A team player with a willingness to assist colleagues
