We are seeking a talented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team at Gleeson Recruitment Group, a leading recruitment agency in the construction industry.

About the Role

In this key position, you will play a pivotal role in safeguarding the company's financial health and driving continued success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports
  • Preparing and reconciling balance sheets and other financial accounts
  • Processing supplier invoices and managing credit control procedures
  • Supporting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Assisting the Finance Manager with year-end processes and audits
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • AAT qualification (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A desire to learn and develop your accounting expertise
