Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our Endoscopy team at London Bridge Hospital. As a key member of our clinical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the provision of care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety needs are identified and met.
  • Participate in the assessment of patient care needs and implement and maintain agreed standards of care.
  • Assist with patient and non-patient manual handling, cleaning duties, and waste disposal.
  • Prepare patients for procedures under the direction of the clinical team.
  • Assist nursing and medical staff with different procedures, with supervision and competency.

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Experience working as a Healthcare Assistant.
  • Experience in an Endoscopy environment is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
