About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Marine Biologist to join our Ecosystem Solutions team at Ramboll. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering marine biology projects and providing specialist advice to project managers and other Ramboll teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and undertake marine biology assessments and produce high-quality reports
  • Liaise with regulators and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental legislation
  • Manage small to medium-scale projects and contribute to large-scale projects as a specialist
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and sub-consultants
  • Deliver technical work on complex projects and contribute to the development of innovative solutions
  • Supervise and manage junior staff and contribute to resource planning
Requirements
  • Significant consulting experience in marine biology projects
  • Postgraduate qualification in Marine Biology or a comparable subject
  • Desirable skills and experience include coastal and offshore bird ecology and assessing underwater noise impacts on mammals
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively to deadlines
  • Proficient user of MS Office software and ArcGIS
  • Full clean UK driving licence
