About the Opportunity

Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a skilled Advanced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Child Disability Team.

Job Overview

This Band 7 permanent post involves working 15 hours per week (2 days) at Cimla Hospital, Neath. The successful applicant will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care for patients/clients within the ALN framework.

Main Duties
  1. Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients/clients to identify their needs and develop personalized care plans.
  2. Care Delivery: Deliver high-quality care to patients/clients, utilising specialist knowledge and expertise.
  3. Service Improvement: Contribute to service improvement initiatives, identifying areas for development and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Essential Qualifications and Experience: Registered Nurse, current NMC registration, Master's Degree or equivalent experience, specialist qualifications, and relevant clinical experience.
  • Desirable Qualifications and Skills: Teaching qualification, management qualification, advanced clinical skills, and non-medical prescribing.
