Groundskeeper and Handyman

The Groundskeeper and Handyman will be responsible for maintaining and repairing buildings, grounds, and gardens in our residential sanctuary for animals.

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and flexibility in a changing environment.

• Maintaining and repairing buildings, grounds, and gardens, with a focus on resident safety and well-being.
• Undertaking repairs, including hard landscaping, carpentry, and general construction works, while adhering to Health & Safety rules.
• Maintaining gardens, mowing lawns, tending to flower beds, and clearing away rubbish, always prioritizing safety.
• Securing hazardous materials and maintaining up-to-date C.O.S.H.H. Data Sheets.
• Maintaining and storing garden equipment safely and efficiently.
• Being available for out-of-hours support and emergency repairs.
• Assisting with other tasks as required to support the sanctuary's operations.

Estimated Salary: £22,500 - £27,000 per annum.
